Best Actress Award L.A. City of Angels Film Festival

I am beyond chuffed to have been awarded the Best Actress Award by City of Angels Film Festival in Hollywood! This was following the screening of short film Rosalie directed by Jevan Chowdhury in which I play the title role.

Rosalie, a troubled woman in search of relief, is forced to confront her demons by the inadvertent use of illicit drugs. This role was a powerful way to dig deep into the psyche of someone used to rely on her own strength to survive. But is the resolution connection not fierceness ?

I am deeply indebted to Jevan Chowdhury for casting me in the role, my co-star Julie Ghallab, all who worked on the film behind the camera and in making it possible for the film to be shown in film festivals around the world. My sincere thanks to all at City of Angels Film Festival.

This recognition is emboldening my childhood dream of making it as a Hollywood actress !
